"Nothing is more priceless and more worthy of preservation than the rich array of animal life with which our country has been blessed."
Nixon made this comment in 1973 when he signed the Environmental Protection Act, wherein the Environmental Property Agency was established.
And speaking of animal and environmental protections, we thank Jimmie Buffet for founding the Save the Manatee Club in Florida.
